hi all

i have 4 plants from seed ,i veged for 3 weeks .i want keep the plants small .

i have been LST them keeping the tops level low ,they have just done over 1 week in flower

but now there getting some stretch & kicking off ,should i leave them now let em go ? realise the ties

i used plastic coated bendable wire to tie down ,LST them ,i have quite a few on each plant should i take all ties off ,or should i keep pulling back the leaders that are stretching that bit more ?

what you think

IMO continue LST until stretch stops.

I used to only LST during the stretch just to keep control of my canopy.

Ultimately it will depend upon the lighting you're using as to how much penetration you have to allow your plants grow.

I LST'd from start to finish with no ill effects. I had to have an even canopy since I use LED, so I kept my girl tied and twisted all the way through. If your tiedowns arent in the way, shouldnt be any harm in just keeping them there until you harvest.

don't laugh ,iv not done much LST before im only playing about ,I topped them started tieing them down ,

they was a freebies when I bought some seeds so thought I would give them a go .

Twist the wire of those that stretch above the rest (make a small loop in it to make it short, pullen the branch down a little), do not release the ties till they stopped stretching.
