there are soo many video's on youtube. doesn't really matter how you do it, as long as the part your bending is lower then the other branches your probably gonna trick the plant and it should work. Just don't do what i did and try and bend it all at once, you gotta slowly bend it day by day little by little. Also a one month old plant is a lot more flexible then my 4 month old plant.

You can use pipe cleaners and push pins. Put the pushpins in the side of the pot just below the lip. Use a pipe cleaner and tie around near the end of branches and wrap the other end around the pushpin. If the plant is big/tall just tie two or more together. Cheap and easy!

IMO the earlier the better for lst. If you do it enough in the first few months, the plant will have developed into a nice bush and then you can just let her go.

thats a link to the first four weeks of my LST grow this year

I use a plastic bucket/pot with a thick lip and drill 8 screws around the pot's edge. I then tie one "anchor from one screw to right under the first node using a garden type of pipe cleaner. I then tie the top over the opposite way. When 2-3 more nodes form i bend it over again but to the next screw to the side, eventually following the lip all the way around. When i run out of room i top and let it grow. Just a basic rundown, there is a wealth of information out there.

Screws cost like 2 bucks and the pipe cleaners like a buck. Pretty cheap and effective way to LST i would say

I just drill holes in the sides of my pots and use pipe cleaners to hold the branches down, they work the best for me. I'm sure string would work too.

I just drill holes in the pot and use twist ties and fishing line, seems to do the trick. Tie her down, she likes it!

i use metal stakes that are bent into a "u" shape at the end. stick the metal stake into the dirt and "hook" the other end on the branch you want to pull down. i use electrical wire and thin metal (similar to a coathanger) pieces.

Bend the plant how you want it...You can tie it down with strings to screws stuck in the sides of the pot, or use stakes to bend and then fix it in the soil, or little bits of coat hanger or metal wire of some sort...make it like a hook shape and then hook the top of the plant over sideways, and then as new branches pop up tie them down too...LST is the simplest thing ever...I mean just bend the plant over until it starts to grow in a different direction if you don't have anything to tie it down with...You will just have to bend it over a few times a day for the first little bit.

Damn, where are you growing that thing? It isn't getting anywhere near enough light.
