LST'd can I still scrog?

My plants are vegging right now a couple weeks in, and I've been lst ing them to get them to grow horizontally around. The circular pots. As of now I have only done one tie down. I know I definitely want to scrog these and will have my screen set up in the next couple of days. I have 3 questions...

1. Should I just forget the tying down around the pot and throw the screen up now, and focus on growing them along the screen? I guess that is kind of what the screen does anyway.

2. When scrogging, when should I turn the lights to 12/12? Should I let the plants grow along the screen a lot first or should I go ahead and turn it to flower. They are plenty big right now, but I don't want to jump the gun.

3. How high from the pots should the screen be? Does it all depend on where they stand when be screen is put in?

1* I always do some lst before it hits the screen to get lots of arms hitting the net not just one. I top/ fim aswell to get as many heads as possible. Once they hit the net I train them under it.
2* I flip to 12/12 when net is 70-80% green and keep training for about first 2 weeks of 12/12.
3* screen height really depends on just how much room you need to water and play about under there I have mine about 8 inch away but everyone's differaint. Adjust to the size of your grow area.
Im no pro but been scrogging for a wile now so hope this helps marcy

I agree with Marcy.
Consider a U-Scrog. (more screen size in same area at the correct distance from light).
IMO scrog is great. Probably the no.1 method of increasing yield.
