Looks like those ladies are close to getting switched. So with a 600HPS/MH you yielded one LB and with a SCROG? How long have you been growing? My friend is trying to be ambitious and get at least 10oz off his two ladies his first round back into the game. He used to grow like 10 years ago he said and he was pretty happy with what he is seeing so far. He used to have 4 babies under a 400HPS, now, he is running a 250w HPS and 50w LED's. His Screen is about 5ft long and 2ft wide. It is his first and will only get better if he sticks to the same methods except some little tweaks.
I am jealous of all you and my friend, lol. Pretty buds!!

yes I used a scrog net for that run, net was 3 x 4. Was my first ever run in a tent.
On and off since the early 90's. Out doors mainly.
Thanks, a bit smaller buds on the Black dogs compared to the strains of last grow but the C99 is lookin promising.

This rotation idea is a bit of work.
Ive put into the flower tent so far a Strawberry Amnesia (my fav strain so far) and the cbd Shark, Northern Lights and a White Widow x Big Bud.
The strawberry Amnesia and Shark would be close to finishing their stretch, Northern lights has just started stretching and the WW x BB only went into the tent day before yesterday.
All clones have been potted except for the clones just taken from the NL and the WW x BB.
With all these different strains with different finishing times its going to be a bit of a juggle keeping the veg area with the right amount of plants. Plus side is lots of variety and staggered harvests.

Have you ever considered defoliating a little more at the bottom? Some of that popcorn at the bottom could be eliminated early and flowers which can add to upper development. I do not have experience with a 600hps only SE1000 hps and now I am fully 315cmh on everything. My 1000 penetrated about 6 inches further than the 315cmh. Just my .02 nice grow either way.

I trim a little around the bottoms but not to much. I really don't think it makes a big difference to the top buds to leave some popcorn on. At least I've never noticed much of a difference. The dominate colas still receive the most attention from the plant. I use the popcorn so it doesn't go to waste like it may do in a larger grow and I tend to harvest the plant in stages if I can, over two to three weeks. I probably wont be able to do that on the dogs this run as they need to go out the door asap.
1000w would be nice but the heat would be a killer for me in summer, I already see the odd 40c in the tent over summer.
If the 1000 penetrated better why the move to CMH315?

I switched because of heat and cooling cost. I ran air cooled hoods and crazy a/c bills. I don’t run cooled hoods with my cmh. If the room is 76 the tents are 77 with fan filter exhaust and a intake fan as well.
For flower I run a 4x8(3 cmh) and a 4x4(1cmh) all on 240v on a autopilot. All in the same room. I shut the flower room down in summer.
I start it up again in August or September.
I also harvest in two stages but I am still aggressive with defoliation. I also mainline my clones.

Man, that black dog looks dank hey!
I'm thinking of working some of the black dog into some skunk or blueberry...undecided yet but all the pheno's I've seen have been awesome!

Needs something to help bulk it up... Most people seem to say its an Ok smoke but not great and an OK yielder but not great. Looks and smells lovely it just needs a little help.

Heres the differences in Phenos of the black dogs. Earlier and darker is taller and doesn't seem to stack as well.

Harvested the one on the left in the above pic tonight. Here's another pic of that one, I could of fkd around and got a better pic of this one, frosty as fk but not vey big buds. Reeks, Very loud.
