Lumatek and Super Lumens

I have a 600W Lumatek Digital Ballast and this will be my third grow with it and my second with my SunMaster Bulb. I have never used the super lumens switch and was curious if I should.

Has anyone ever used it?

I heard it burns your bulb out faster, but this will prob be my last grow with this bulb so I am wondering if I should just do it. Any suggestions?

I am wondering this myself. I just bought a 400/600/super for my 400w hps but recently put in a 600w and have been curious how much benifit there is to switching to the super.

i have the 600w. havent tried super lumens...scared too

On mine.I was told to use the boost in the last weeks of flower?That's what I was told from Jd ballast

I just put my meter on mine heres what I got:

600w HPS: draws 643watts/5.68amps
super HPS: draws 666watts/5.88amps

Doesn't seem like that much of a boost.

Since it is digitaly regulated and the bulbs last grow,I would do it.

it will make your bulb alittle brighter....but shorten the life
