Lumatek Blow Out

Lumatek's have a 5 yr. warranty. Horti's incompatible with electronic ballasts. Super lumens eat bulbs, also overheat ballast.

i already explained to you what happened whether you believe me or not ive done enough research into bulb design to know what the fuck happened. if it was the fuse inside the ballast you would have put a new bulb in (any bulb just for testing) and it would have lit it up 15min later. the 600w in particular has had the most problems. get fucking digilux, a lumaatek or a ushio bulb. and send the ballast back saying it was fucked up. there is no "breaker" inside the lumatek to switch.

Suppose there was a fuse inside the ballast, how would putting a new bulb in fix it?

it automatically resets after about 15 min(the rest time is based on internal temps) it is a safety feature to ensure you dont kill the ballast

OK, I got 2 Ushio bulbs yesterday and my replacement ballast today. Waiting until about 15 minutes before the timers ready to open the tent and put in the new bulb, but the ballast is hooked up and set on 600w; I'm not running Super Lumens again, fuck that. I was thinking about trying to hook the hortilux back up. I dont want a repeat of last time and the local shop inscribed the date on the socket, so they pretty much told me to eat one, they're not taking it back. $125.00 bucks wasted because they cant write a receipt. So I'll get back to you once the systems up again.
