It will give you a general idea and will be very precise, but not geared toward photosynthesis so cannot be used to compare light sources of different color temps.
Do you recommend one that is geared towards photosynthesis? I'd like to compare it against the cheaper version to see what the differences are. Thanks

They are selling for 335 on ebay, but keep in mind they are mostly blind to deep red wavelengths and there is a significant deep red output in warm white COBs, especially 3K Vero.

I bought just the electric sensor for $155 and use my multimeter,you can really dial in your distance from the plant quickly and think it was well worth the money.
