m.o.b. gone yellow

hi everybody i just got referred to this site from some people on reddit if somebody could help me diagnose what i did wrong i would be extremely grateful this is my first grow got my med card a couple of months ago but i don't really know what i'm doing things were going great until a few days ago. if i'm leaving out any info please let me know thanks in advance

so three weeks into flower today watered night before last with a mix of a tablespoon blackstrap molasses and a half dose of beastie bloomz ph'd to 6.5. this was the second dose I've giving them first one being quarter strength a week before. yesterday morning i took a quick look at them before lights went out for the day and noticed massive amounts of yellow/brown curling leaves pretty sure i overfed her and she's pissed


other details temps range from 50 when lights off to 70 when on i got two lights a 600 watt hps with a little shity hood and a 1000 watt with a sunsystems xxl magnum air cooled hood the plant with problems is 20 inches under the 1000


i use well water that comes out at a ph of 8.2 to 8.7 always balanced to 6.5 although i had no idea what i was doing when i got into this so for most of the veg period i did not ph anything or feed it anything. last three weeks of veg i got a digital ph meter and some foxfarms grow big, big bloom and tigerbloom so i fed em grow big and big bloom for three weeks starting of at half dose and working up to full dose and they loved it. first week of flower i just gave them big bloom and a half dose of tigerbloom every thing was fine second week gave them a quarter dose of beastie bloomz and big bloom and everything was fine third week half dose not so fine

took these pics last night and the yellowing has gotten considerably worse
from what I'm told m.o.b. is supposed to be a six week flower so today should be the halfway point

from your description it sounded like yeah you overfed but from the pics it kinda looks just like a bit of N deficiency which is common towards the end of flower but it is a bit early for you to be seeing this. N deficiency so you know generally characterised by yellowing of the oldest fan leaves first, ie the furthest ones down, starting at the edges and fading in which looks like whats going on for you. Try upping the N ratio a bit so I would reduce the beastie bloomz and up the tiger bloom a bit, as the ratio for the beastie is 0-50-30 (N being the 0) whereas your tiger bloom i believe is 2-8-4 so will have the required N to cut down on that yellowing.

thanks a lot man i was kinda thinking the same thing but am very unsure of myself wasn't sure about adding n at this point in flowering but it looks like the best option thanks again

yeah no I get you it can be difficult to know whats up until you have more experience feeding and seeing plant problems, and it can feel counter intuitive to add more nutes when the plant looks sick as generally you would wanna flush and then try and fix things, this seems like a pretty textbook case of N def tho so just go for it!

I should mention that too much N will retard the flowering process. Your tiger bloom is a bloom specific nute tho so it should be balanced appropriately for the life stage of your plant as long as you don't give a general overdose!

Yeah shes low on nitrogen but def not nute burn.

i just got some organic neptunes that has some n in it thinking i might mix in a bit of that as well thanks again for the info

I'll be honest I think your plants are doing allright. They just eating themselves because they're nearing the end of their cycle. Alot of people mistake this for not enough "N" and they go ahead and salt there plants and a week later there getting the claw.

I've read about that i was mostly concerned because it happened so fast and only to one of them thanks for saying they look alright I'm thinking maybe i'll just go real light on some n and see if it greens it up a little nice to hear i shouldn't be that worried though

Ya you can go ahead and give them a hit of N but watch the leaves carefully if you see any bending at all flush right away or you're going to get "THE CLAW in a low bassy voice". Nice plants otherwise bro.

I just checked the rest of your pic's you got a nice room and setup I like it. And the plants look very happy.
