Welcome to the Mad Hatter's Tea Hour
Your journey down the Rabbit Hole
has come to an end. Get comfortable,
grab the headphones, and load a bowl.
The awaiting adventure has only begun.
To prepare us for this "fellowship of the green,"
Allow me to awaken your senses with a
little music and chronic-on-babe action.

Intro
Thank you to Firstly, I would like to thank everyone at RIU for their time and motivation in posting their own journals and experiences. Upon starting this entire project, I never knew the toil and steep learning curve involved. Thank you all for sharing your wealth of information and experience. I welcome your comments!
As for me, I have been a member by another name here on RIU since 2007. Changed my name to protect the innocent (me =D).
My Specs
Space:
I am working with a nice sized room that I will build a 5'x5'x10' tent. This attempt used PVC for the framework and panda film.
Lighting:
- 600w Lumatek Ballast 120v
- 600w EYE Hortilux HPS Bulb
- 600w HPS-MH SunMaster Conversion
- Cool Sun Reflector
- 250w SSII Mini
- 270w Son Agro HPS Bulb
H2O and Nutes:
- HydroLogic Stealth RO system
- The PPM of our tap water was just over 600
- The PPM after the HL RO 100 was 20 (and tastes amazing too)
- Advanced Nutrients line
- Sensigrow A + B
- Mother Earth Grow + Bloom
- Huvega (Botanicare)
- Sensizym
- B52
- Grandma Engy's F1 + H2
- Voodoo Juice
- Piranha
- Tarantula
- Connoisseur A + B
- Bud Blood
- Big Bud
- Carboload
- Colossal Bud Blast
- Overdrive
- Final Phase
- Bud Candy
- Wet Betty
- BlueLab PH/PPM/Temp combo meter
- 30x Jeweler's Loop
- 60x-100x microscope
- Digital Lux Meter
- DIY carbon filter, 6" to 8" for 1" surrounding active carbon layer - 30lbs active carbon off ebay and the rest of the parts from HomeDePot.
- Rockwool Blocks
- Dayton 465CFM Blower
- Mylar - 2mil x 50ft
- Panda Film 10x100
- ReadyGro Super Plugs
- Vicks Ultrasonic humidifier
- Portable AC unit from Best Buy
- For the large grow container:
- Black trash can
- 20gal blue bucket
- 5 airstones(different kinds for testing, USE BUBBLE DISKS or SANDSTONES unless you have a crazy powerful air pump. Micro-bubblers get clogged too easily in the nute solution, and bubble wands simply did not work for me at all.)
- Whisper 100 air pump
- Supreme Mag 250 water pump
- Airline and poly tubing
- Irrigation parts (1/2" mainline tubing with shrubbler sprayers)
Genetics:
The clone I got was supposed to be Green Crack. I think it might really be Grape Ape.
The seed is Nirvana's B52 (big bud x skunk).
The seed is Nirvana's B52 (big bud x skunk).
- Clone --> transplant into 19gal Hydroton with basically 15-20L res. I am hoping for a massive root system to support the tree.
- Veg 8 weeks total (Goal is October 24th or earlier to switch)
- Flower for 7-10 weeks, will let the girl tell me when she's ready. I am guessing the beginning to middle of December

DAY 01 for Clone - Picked up cutting.

DAY 03 for Clone
Clone Pictures - Had the cutting for 4 days before taking these pictures. When I got it, it came as a new cutting in a rapid rooters. I was told genetics are Green Crack. I think it might be Grape Ape. Hopefully someone will recognize the strain in later pics and can help me out with the genetics.
Here's the clone next to a humidifier.

DAY 05 for B52
B52 seedlings sprouted. Yes, that is my make-shift foil propagation tray
Notice the one in the bottom right hand corner. Runt it seems, will give it some time.

DAY 21 for Clone
DAY 08 for B52

DAY 23 for Clone
DAY 10 for B52
Interesting colors, think it's because of the cold air and maybe genetics. Began to tie down - will let her get some more vertical growth next time, but I let her loose a few days later.
Look at that pentagon of branchy goodness!
