Call me paranoid, but when I got some with some new screens the words "made in china" didn't make me feel too good. I am aware that china makes a ton of stuff sold by the US, but metal screens? Reminds me of the lead paint they colored childrens toys with. Do I have a reason to worry? They are staineless steel.

NAFTA eliminates tariffs on import/export between us/can/mexi. mostly on agriculture i believe. wiki should have a good article on it tho.

China does not even have a supply of "Real" stainless steel. Everything that china supplies is stepped on one way or another

So... I'm just going to be safe and not use them.

And yes, I realize that a lot of my things were made in china, but nothing I smoke from, eat off of, or drink from etc... I try to make sure of that

1. in their respective countries, the wages they receive is still significantly higher than their peers not working in the same industry
2. japan is considered the Germany of Asia. Thats not only in respect to their automobiles, but to their clothing, educational system amongst other aspects such as quality of life. Japan doesn't even know that the world is in a recession.
3. why only laught at toyota owners? Why not lexus? Infiniti? Nissan? Subaru? Mitsubishi?
4. basically, you should do more reading than just an online pot forum

As for the mesh screens, i would not recommend those particular screens. I would recommend going with high-temperature mesh screens implored in medical applications. Definitely more expensive but if you care for your health you wont mind
