Made some dry ice hash today!

I used 3oz of sugar trim and pop corn nugs to get 16 grams of diffrent grade hash.

And it goes Lower qualty starting on the left working your way to golden hash on the right

You say tou used dry Ice? tell me more. I wondered what carbonic acid would do to the hash.

wow that looks absolutley amazing!! good job. its hard to do dry ice hash without getting some of the plant material come through. I know from experience. So i see you used a bubble bros bag. gotta love em. Now for my question, does it melt???

So to make it, you put dry ice into the bag with the trim and just shake it? Is it the same as kief?

how much dry ice did it take to use on 3 ounces to get 16 grams of hash...is that like kief? or stickier like oil?...where did ya get the dry ice?

I used a few pounds for my 1 gallon bag if that. The kief that first falls out without the plant matter has an oil like texture, different from the rest we collected. I would suggest scooping up the kief off your table while someone else does the shaking. There you can really control what your collecting, judging the quality of the kief while shaking the shit out of your bubble bag is kinda hard, so having someone else to help is good.

As for where you can pick up dry ice, check out your yellow pages (yes that thing we never use) under dry ice. I had a place who gave me 30lbs for 20 bucks, usually its 15lbs, guess he was feeling good like us.

I'm from the other coast, where things like full melts and such are not commonplace. Don't have a nail or anything for concentrates. When topped on a bowl it does not melt like how Ive seen concentrates do in videos. So no? Maybe that will answer the question.

Like I said in a previous post, as you shake have someone else start to collect the kief on your table. After a while of shaking there will be a green ting starting to creep in, that's the plant matter. Just use a large table and work from one area straight down to the end of the table. You will see the progression of yellow to green.

when you mix CO2/dry ice and water you get carbonic acid. that would be the fizz in your soda pop. It will eat threw a 1/4' steel in just a few months. Thanks I'll check it out.

I see that. Just watched the video. There is nothing like living in the pnw. we have cali weather 300 days out of the year. the other 65 days is Alaska weather. lol

Also i got about 5 more grams of hash/kief (what ever u wanna call it) for cooking! :) The train wreck #1 is knock your ass back on a chair and be ready to nod shit ! medic-moby # 1 is very very uplifting good morning type high.

Any one who grows needs to try this at least once. Beleave it or not but most of the hash you see here leaves an oily residue on your hands! Really kick ass stuff!
