Alreeeet peeps

Just wanted to know, Ive been treating a few of the ladys epsom salts via the ol foliar feed. Have noticed v nice results in short space of time. Just one particular lady is worse than others so what I would like to know if anyone can chip in, is Ive been foilar feeding every 4 days(only done twice) and fed them via the roots today(first time) Teaspoon per Gallon. The one in particular that is worse than the others, do I carry on giving it epsom until shes looking better overall????????????????????????

Theres defo a green coming back, but theres still that limey yellow green look to it so I wasnt sure if to leave it for a bit seeing as I can see green coming back . However shes still looking not as vigorous as the rest by a long shot/

I just didnt want to over due it , anyone got any advice ? Would be appreciated

I would do one more feed on that plant then maybe use the Epson every other feed. ve never seen it overdone with Epsom but that doesn't mean it's not possible just keep an eye on things and flush if you see anything bad. I have overdone it with cal mag and it started showing up as orange rusty looking spots in the center of a leaflet ..... wanted to add that I usually just mix it up and water it in. I no nothing of foliar feeding I don't do it.

Epsom salt is Magnesium sulfate and used by many many growers. I use it mostly in organics if not organic I use cal mag I think it's by botanicare.... distilled water for 2 weeks is not very good advice to solve a deficiency

More info please...Medium, lighting are other variables that need to be addressed also. Where did you notice the yellowing first? If your hydro a big flush with 5.8 then the next day 1/2 strength nutrients with 1/2 strength Cal/Max or another product similar. If you do foliar feed use one part micro and one part Epsom's per litre. Two times a day and not within an hour of lights out. This weak solution will not hurt them in any way.

Thanks peeps for the replys. I ve been inthe game a while and no for sure its not nitrogen. Have done untold research on mag def and it had all the symptoms. Ive given it epsom salts and have seen instant results. I just wanted to know do I carry on giving it to her until shes completely better? I didnt want to over do it.

Splifchris how often do you give it to em? every feed? every other?

Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate (epsom salt) is 9.9% magnessium and 13% sulfur by mass. The rest is hydrogen and oxygen. Of course it can be used in hydro systems.

I have no idea what the actual diagnosis for the plant in question is though.

Im going to try it at that 1/4 strength from the middle of veg till middle of flower from now to see if it helps... I think im going to go back to the canna line when these nutes are finished...

I had already replied and noticed there were a few more replys. Thanks again for the info. Head good things about cal mag just didnt look like cal def compared to the hundreds of pics i looked at. As I say epsom seems to be working. Tussell going to take your advice and give em one more feed and then every other. Like I say them seem to be on the mend which is a good thing. Muchos gracias peeps

just an update for anyone who maybe interested. The Epsom salts worked to a certain degree foilar feed twice in total every 3rd day. Drenched it once. Ended up buying some bloom calmag from growell. Lovely green coming back. So all good. Defo mag def .
