Magic Butter Machine

Hello:

I was just wondering if anyone here has owned or used one of those magic butter machines? They are a little pricey but wanted to know if the convenience was worth it.

They have a few threads over at the 420magazine forums, I was reading a few of them the other day as I too was a little interested in the unit.

I have only read good things about them, but haven't heard anything on the longevity of it... for ~300$ it better last quite a few butter batches!

Sorry I'm not much help, but they do have 'reviews' out there on a few other forums, so you might have to look around if no one here has exp. with it

You have to use melted butter in the machine - also the size of the machine is larger then what you expect - i saw one in our local store the other day.

I do have a quick question - if anyone does have experience making Alcohol mixtures with the Magic Butter Machine

I still think the best way is with a crock pot. Never fails, never burns and doesn't cost $300 bucks!

crock pot and cheese cloth or 160 bag bubble/filter bag is pretty hard to beat... price /end quality and the filter bag makes it pretty easy
also from what ive heard ud have to use a lot more than they instruct in this thing if u have a high tolerance or plan to use trim
