Hey guys have identified my plant issue as magnesium, (purple stalks and rusty spots on leaves leading from the purple stalks) its not terribly bad caught it in good time noticed my new house tap water is dog shit like lower than 0.2ec so have started calmag to start base water off at 0.4ec.

I've heard some things about epsom salt foliar spray is this a good option and how much should be diluted? Thanks heaps

Rusty spots? Calcium deficiency more likely but either way cal mag should handle it. Pictures get better information. Epsom salts (UNSCENTED) 1 tablespoon per gallon and a drop of liquid soap.

Looks like Ca deficiency, but I'm a newbie diagnoser. What's the medium, nutrients, pH going in?
From my extensive research it was either cal or mag but started leaning towards mag. Soil is canna terra which is a kind of soiless medium, they recommend 6.0ph but I've bumped that to 6.2now am using canna Terra classic nutes at correct ppm for each stage of growth

I can't help much since I'm in organic soil and don't know anything about their nutes.

Ok, so the Epsom Salts is a source of Magnesium. So what does the liquid soap do?
