The old synthesis is 12 steps.. unlike people who say "I could make it", some people are decent with chemistry ;-).

ergotamine + NaOH -> lysergic acid
DEET + NaOH -> diethylamine
lysergic acid + diethylamine + peptitde couple reagent -> LSD-25

hehe.

Is this a factual post or are you fucking with those of us who know less about Cid than you? This is something I've been extremely interested in for a while (not that I have the ability to do it, just like to know how things work).

yu guys ever seen that movie with ben stiller and alan alda and alan alda is his dad and when he goes home as an adult to his parent shouse they go in the basement and his dad, alan alda, has his own acid lab. They make a joke "not that bottle" that has the acid in it. Lol, all clean cut with a fake door to a basement. Funny shit. I have always wanted a soccer squirt bottle full of acid. Since I saw that movie.
