Mailing clones

But on the subject of mailing cuttings I seen a big posting that floats around here from time to time and the guy uses a soda bottle to put the cutting in so they dont get damaged with wet paper towels and zip lock bag on the bottom. I personally would like to get some better strains around my area without growing from seed.

You mail cuttings not clones...

Wrap the bottom of the cuttings in damp paper towel and then tin foil. Put the cuttings in a zip lock bag with a cold pack and they'll be fine for several days.

Flat bubble envelopes and thin boxes both work. I would recommend UPS over USPS.

" Well if it were to get found it would be a federal offense, just sayin. "

and growing marijane is still a federal offense also.but there is no rule that you have to put ur real name or real return address
federal offense is anything over 99 plants, the feds don't get involved for anything less. Mailing anything is trafficking charge, I read abou a med user who shipped a small amount of hash to another state and he got caught and faced some serious criminal charges. I know it would be a lot harder to find the sender, picking up the package would be a lot more risky. ll I'm saying is it's good to know the consequences before atttemting anything like that and if you do, be smart about it and be safe.

dont you think that maybe the tin foil might get peoples attention and they may ask more questions?
You guys are too funny. Do you know how many packages move throughout the US on a daily basis? Packages are NOT xrayed.

But if they were...no, tin foil would not look suspicious one bit. What could possibly be suspicious about tin foil? A flashlight would be amplitudes more suspicious than tin foil - a sealed cylindrical container with batteries and electrical components. Gift cards contain foil, chocolates, candles are wrapped in it, hell florists even use it to send plants ;)

They can't bust the receiver unless they can prove he knew what he was getting or I could anonymously send my whole neighborhood nugs and have them all thrown in jail. They can bust you for sending but that just means not leaving your return address and dropping the package off.

well I guess your right that they prob dont xray everything and tin foil may not be that huge of a deal in the jist of things that get sent all over the world everyday. Hell id love to find a florists to works with

i would think the tube full of water that rose sellers have on the bottom of there roses to keep them alive would work, but i dunno, the cutting would need a strong stem.

Don't cuttings become clones? At least mine always do.

sending someone clones you've never even met face to face is kinda sketchy! Like pipe dream said, trafficking charge! Not trying to hate on anyone that needs/wants clones but I would think of my self first! sending clones to someone you don't know is bad juju! even if you call it a donation, federal law still calls it selling. I'm willing to go down for my self but not to make a few dollars on cuttings! So sorry Joe! but you are most likely going to have to start from seed.
