Mailing Seeds Home

I'm new to the Forum and so far loving all the helpful information but, theres one thing I havent found that I'm looking for. I live in Europe but am a US citezen. I've recently been to Amsterdam where I purchased some seeds (30 to be exact). I'm leaving back to the US in a month and would like to mail them home rather than go through US customs and risk the dog (even if you think the dog cant smell them Im way to sketched out to take the chance). The problem I'm running into is that I wanted to put the seeds in a trail mix bag and reseal it and some other random things as a "gift" to a friend. Only prob is I'm not sure I can send any food let alone nuts and seeds back to the states. Also with shipping it back I run into the problem of only being able to send it from a post office that makes sure the return address has the same name on my ID and that its not a false address.

Anyone every been in the same situation or got any good hints to my problem?

Don't put the seeds in any food. Put the seeds in a small tube or in a small section of corrugated cardboard. You just push the seeds in the holes in corrugated cardboard put a peice of paper around that and your good. This is how I got seeds delivered to me before. You can always send the seeds to me and see if it works.lol

Step 1: Insert seeds into plastic tube.
Step 2: Insert plastic tubing into rectum.
Step 3: Extract shit covered tubing and place in small box filled with something other than seeds.
Step 4: Mail yourself the box.

you can skip step 2 if you want. i usually dont.

My steps for this:

#1 - buy a cheap blowdryer that has a metal handle
#2 - pack the seeds into a bag
#3 - dismantle the blowdryer
#4 - place the bag in the handle section behind the board
#5 - put it back together
#6 - mail your souvenir blowdryer home to yourself

Hmmm Well some great ideas I had actually heard about the corrugated cardboard but was skeptical because I've seen them x rays that pickup organic material(shows up orange) and I know cardboard is technically organic but the thickness of the cardboard and where the seeds are will show up. When I say throw it in the trail mix I also mean kepping them in there baggys but conseal them fairly well and reseal the bag. I can send baked nuts, dried, fruits basically anything in an air tight bag. Match Box why do you think it would be a bad idea to send it in food. I'm not sure of the risks there.

And as for bringing the seeds with me or shoving them up my shitter HELL NOOO lol

i would mail it with some other stuff i just got seeds from another country with clothing inside the box, worked well went through fedex and everything wasnt a small box either

Well so far I've already got the following items in the package A shirt (big ol pot leaf on it...) A ps3 game and prolly some candy and trail mix. I've been doing my research and either I'm stoned or it should be fool proof. Technically the seeds in the trail mix would hide any trace of the seeds and if by chance it goes through some fancy x ray machine the trail mix will just be a big orange glob because of all the organic material but I wonder if the shirt would also help mask it.

I don't recommend the cardboard idea unless you are putting the cardboard into something else.. I received seeds this way once, and a few of them were busted on arrival. But the dozen or so times I received seeds in tubes... they have been perfect. However, I doubt any of them had ass juice on them, so I think pretty much everyone skips my step 2, I outline earlier.

Blow dryer is another really good way.

Sunni mentioned the t-shirt method.. which is a popular way of doing it.. and has very good results. Seeds into tube, wrap tube in t-shirt, mail t-shirt. Done.

Thats how alot of seeds banks do it and it seems most of them get through fine. It just seems so simple it wont work just because I'm paranoid about the return address being my actual return address. The blowdryer sounds like a good idea and a good present for my bald friend lol. What about possibly putting the seeds in a pen then putting the pen in a seem of the shirt and wrapping it around that? Idk I'm just tryin to get a nice list of really good ideas so I can hopefully make the best one. Thanks for the input see4.

what my suggestion is not good enough it was to my home address, and it was from another acountry, ziplock pages with all the info of the seeds on it, and they were put in the middle between my clothing,

You'll be fine dude.. seriously.

The problems not receiving them with your real name and address but sending them especially since Im a US citezen THANKS SUNNI YOU SO AWESOME....happy times

Im just cooler than you.

I thought food would be looked at more closely. Even if they get stopped they are not likely to do anything. You just don't get the seeds.

Thats true, I'm actually a first time grower and I've seen alot of people getting hit and misses with the whole shipping thing. I understand I'm taking a risk of basically payin for nothing it just sucks lol. First time ever buying seeds too so I'm sure if they get seized I'll just order from Attitude, I've heard good things except the GBP rate....

I think vash youre really really paranoid, honestly, like my seeds went across boarders, from america to canada, if it was gunna be found it wouldve. lol

United States doesn't sell seeds. Im calling the Fargo PD on you.

Lol sorry cant help it if you didnt catch it earlier in my first post I'm shipping from a US military base. Thats the only reason I'm sketched out to be honest. The whole shirt thing made me feel better though and throwing a bunch of random stuff in with it other than food.
