So heres the exact way i would do itScreenshot_2016-03-23-11-55-17.jpgcut the main stem ONLY donot cut the shoots that are growing.
Also leave it alone because as the plant grows its gonna develop more branches from the underlying growth make sure you train all the top branches so that ur net stays the same height and the same level.

No his plant is a clone so it still needs time to veg so by the time to switch the lights he dosent have to train or to fill out the screen, all he does is trim the undergrowth.

Also hes working with hydro so his shit will be big ass fuq!

I think that plant was topped like 3-4 times.

Well yeha either way it will work u might have to top a few more times if you do it like Gary. My way u just flip 12/12 but veg time might be a factor.
Good luck noob.

You need to top it 1st. Then just bend at an even point to make the T, like this
Bro his plant is like 6inches! This is the best time to top. If ur gonna top do it right. Top right where i showed you and ur gonna keep it short and bushy the way Gary told you will still have a main stem.
That main stem has to be cut out all together to induce more branching to be able to mai line.

I would start the mainlining when the plants a little bigger, once it gets a bit bigger just tie the top down a bit at a time ,but top first, then let it recover from that.

Jha bless, good gardening dude
