Maintaining a male for breeding?

My only experience with a male is when I grew ninja fruit outside i saw it flowered month or so before females did. So I brought him inside just to keep around to bed later if I chose. But he just kept busting sacks even under 24 hrs light. Do they normally act as a female would and flower when you want? Was the male I had just a bad traits?

Yea some males will start to flower regardless.. just collect the pollen for later use. If you want to keep him around for the future he may eventually revert back to veg under 24 hour light, but I usually toss those males.
