In summary; it sucked. Ill be lucky to get an oz.

I have purchased an Auto-Flowering Blue Pyramid, and 2 Special Queen #1. Im also getting 1 or 2 freebies with the order.
I have Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil that I intend to use for the special queen but I've heard that the Auto-Flowers dont do especially well in Ocean Forest because of the nutrients but im looking for input.
I have a 150 watt HPS light and 2 two foot T5 lights. I am planning on using the T5 to veg the regular plants until the Auto-Flower is done completely (I will start them about 2 weeks after the Auto-Flower) and I will flower them under the HPS.
I have Fox Farms Nutrients and I am planning on buying Rockwool squares for starting the seeds.
I am planning on making a grow box before starting this grow as a couple cardboard boxes isn't cutting it. Ive been considering a Secret Jardin Darkroom as they are cheap and have good reviews but if anyone can suggest a cheap way to build my own Id love links to see a build.

ANY INFO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED AS ARE ANY QUESTIONS!

150w hps is good in my opinion for 1 or 2 plants at max.

Have you considered trying a SCROG to maximise your light.

You could build a 1.5x1.5 SCROG net and train a single plant during veg to 75% fill it then flip it to flower.

This will keep plant height limited but make use of the footprint.

Im looking for input on auto-flowers with fox farms ocean forest, Ive heard it can be too strong for them.
Im also curious if rockwool is the best answer to the first couple weeks after the seeds sprout. If so what size cubes should I use so that I dont have to transplant them too many times?
Sorry for not making my questions clearer but thanks for any help.

The FF question I can't help with.

I have used 1"x1" rockwool cubes for germination.


They need to be soaked for at least 6 hours in a weak nute solution at pH 5.5.

In 1"x1" cubes I can keep them in there for around 10 days after they sprout before they need to move on.

Ive thought about it but Id honestly prefer to get a couple smaller plants because I get bored of the same strain all day and its for personal use so 2 or 3 different plants would be ideal. If I SCROG 2 plants and separate them on each half I feel like that I could do...bongsmilie Thank you for the idea.

No worries.

It should work as long as you know what you're doing with SCROG.

Read up before venturing into it.
