image.jpg image.jpg I've been saving trim for three months off of three plants and I'm taking 100 grams of it and seeing how much bubble hash I can make.

On Amazon I ordered 1-gal bubble bag 4 set from Apollo agriculture and this 45 liter washing machine.

I got the water temp to 30s with ice (3.5 gallons) and a lingerie mesh bag and am running it for 3 cycles at 15 minutes each.

Outcome picture soon! Everything cost a total of $90

Now it's slowly draining after the first gallon and a half. Still have about a gallon and a half in the washer to drain and then I'll run it all again one more time.

Smoke report next! I tossed the 200 micron bag. I ended up with 3 grams of the 25 micron and 2 grams total of the 73 and 160 micron bags. This is with trim up until the 6th week of flower. I haven't trimmed anything since week 3 flower.

That shit is very green. Should look like sand. Bubble takes practice to get the yields and results. You should avg 10% + yield. I do two runs and only use individual bags. I think it works better for me at least. I don't have the washer but I do mine in a 5 gal bucket with a drill and a red paint mixer from home depot. I emulate the action of the washer by switching back and forth from reverse to forward. I usually do 7-10 mins. I use a 220 bag to strain through. Then I use a 160 bag next. I then use a 73 and that is all my full melt. After that I use a 45 bag. Thats it. I have thought about using a 25 again for my edibles but haven't. You can rinse out some of the green by rinsing your material while still in the bags. Look up the Frenchy Cannoli method. I used to to the bubbleman method but Frenchy's works better for me.

From the color of it I think you got more CBD than THC. You probably worked it too long.

I'd think your washing machine is to aggressive , your bags are not very good quality or your doing something wrong. I've only seen green hash when i was dry screening brick pack on a kief screen. Did you freeze the trim and use cold water ? how long did you use the machine for?

Hi nvgrower,

It's all about the water extract! If I may offer my humble opinion, I would second what others said, I think your quality would get even better if you either use less agitation and/or less fan leaves or stems in the mix. Perhaps use the machine for a shorter length of time and keep each run separate? You will end up with a much cleaner looking product, and it will taste and smell Amazing! All the best and good luck with the next batch!

Here's my last effort, notice the color when it is pressed nice and thin.

Wow, great info. Here are the key things I did.

The leaves were from veg and some from flower. I ran the machine way to long it sounds like. It's powerful. The water was at 37* or less. I ran the machine for 45 minutes or so. I have a lot of trim coming soon. I'll post with my new trial. My harvest is the beginning of the month!

Yeh next time bro, just use leaves you can see tricomes on. Fans are not really much good. If they are not visible, bin it (or at least save them and run them separate - you will see that it's not really worth the time for the quality you get!). You looking for that good sugar leaf, for the high grade hash.

Also, and I can't emphasise this enough, remove any stalks you see. Even the stems for bigger leaves can cause a problem, as when stirring or using the machine these will tangle up with each other, you will be left with a ball of material - much harder to dislodge trichomes from the centre of this mass. Quality and yield will suffer!

Did you use fresh frozen material? Dried frozen material? How did you dry your hash? Drying and curing are Hugely important processes when it comes to the final quality of your hash. In my experience, this is the area where most mistakes are made/corners cut!

Only ever use quality trim (sugar leaves/pop corn bud) if you want a return for ur time invested.

Use sugar leaves only, if you cant see crystals on the leaves you dont want them in your batch. I would say skip the machine and just go get a paint mixer for a drill and a few 5 gallon buckets. then you can totally control the processing of it , Your quality wont suffer and you will get some good shit for all your effort:) BB
