Making Butter, Trimed plants today, Do i need to let the trim dry?

I just trimmed my plants today and i would love to make some butter. I just got a coffee grinder and a crockpot. Now im just not sure "should i let the trim dry or can i start making butter tonight"

Yes. It should be dried enough to crumble into the butter.

Def. Dried completely! I you don't it will not taste very good kinda like a mossy taste.

If you dont dry it completely more chlorophyll will get into the butter causing the "mossy taste" The Organic spoke of.
