Making hash

a good way of making hash that i have used before is to:
1. get 2 bottles of Isopropyl alcohol 90% conc.
2. get weed or stems and grind them into a fine dust
3. mix the two and let sit for about 12 hours in a plastic container covered.
4. filter the plant substance from the mixture using coffee filters or any other filter. all the THC is in the liquid.
5. pour the liquid into a pot and evaporate using another pot with boiling water, or just put the pot w/ mixture in it on a very low heat. This may take 2 hours or more to fully evaporate.
5. heat (or evaporate) until all the liquid is gone, leaving a coat of hash oil on the inside of the pot. Now scrape that shit up and you have got some hash oil!

he probably doesnt want to use that shitty chemical isopropyl.

m8, i am going to make some hash as well and was wondering where to get a silk screen. i had a look in tescos but they only sell like normal sivs (sp) so im prolly gonna get 1 of them and hold it over a silk screen.

i think u should be able to get some from a material shop. u know like if u want curtains made or something. im just gonna go in an ask for one. worst that can happen is they say no. if they dont they will probably be able to tell u where u can get them.

also, dont know where u live but my town has a market, so im prolly gonna look in there as its most likely gonna be cheap as well.

Thanx for the tip but smokeh is correct - I'd rather avoid using chemicals.

I think I'm gonna have to do the same,we do have a material shop about 3 miles from here so I'll check it out later 2day.I'll post back here if I'm successful.

never made hash meself but i do want to one day and have always wondered the same thing, where the fuck do i get a suitable screen? Thinking of doing some bho with my upcoming harvests trim. Just a thought, these indian sari shops seem to have all sorts of silks and materials... And these shops are ten a penny here in the uk...

thats what i found at google. first 3 search results for silk screen sale might be what your after BUT i may also be wrong.

just been looking thru uk420's hash making forums and somebody else asked the same question, google "selectasine" its a printing supplies store, they do the 43t monofilament for 8pound something per metre, people on uk420 say it works well for them made into a homemade wooden frame, and its on chislehurst rd, chislehurst kent so not too far from u...

hmm im only going to try find something cheap. just somethin that will do the job as this is my 1st an last grow so im not splashing out.

- this depends on how much cuttings etc i get from my plants after harvest.

let me know what u ppl use/using, where u got it from and how much it was.

long story short but missus went mad and our 1st baby is on his way in 7 days. dont wanna be growing with a baby around.

im lucky i got to keep this grow tbh so trying to make the most out of it.

oh cool, yr first child? I got two but still growing strong just keep ya grow and nutes away from little hands, my tents in huge locked cupboard, and all my nutes and equipment in another locked cupboard. But i s'pose if the mrs wont have it... Gota keep em happy eh... Take it she dont toka-da-smoka then(obviously not while preggers anyway). My congratulations in advance

she used to. we used to smoke together, drink together, go out together. it was great. once we had been going out awhile she stopped smoking weed but drinking more :s bit of a rough patch. she didnt mind me smoking pot until she got pregnant, now shes all like, buck ur idea's up, uve got a child to look after now,lol. i was gonna quit smoking pot after my harvest but now ive had to get a 2nd job to pay all the bills for our new house an everythin.

by day i work in an office and by night i deliver dominoes pizzas i know ill just end up getting a sneaky 1 in whilst delivering a pizza somewhere thanks for the congratz!

Hunted the whole of Folkestone town centre and found nothing,so i went into the head shop and he suggested i try the 'Honey-Dust Grinder' (£ comes with 3 different interchangeable grades of filter mesh,also popped into Tesco and brought some coffee filter papers (about 80p),I'll check out Canterbury for the silk screen next.

PS.The bud should be dry enough for me to try making some hash within a couple of weeks,I'll post some pix of the results on here.Gonna try the 'blender method' and also just dry sieving it - like in the YouTube vid.

yep thats it smokeh i know all about the financial strains of kids, i had to go s/employed to earn enough to cover everything, hence thats partly why grow my own, my mrs smokes as much if not more than i do so shes in heaven come every harvest time! karl did u check out that selectasine place in chislehursts website, this is pic of some dry sift hash someone made using their 43t monofilament printing screen...
