Does anybody make there own hydroponic nutrients? I was very interested in the thread on how to make your own PH - down with Sulfric acid. 1 Tablespoon of 98% sulfuric acid to 1 gallon of water was the best I read. Anybody have experience with this?

Really depends on how strong your chemistry is. Cannabis thrives with the base nutrients N-P-K (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium). So in theory if you could find pure substances containing those elements and you know how to properly portion them id say go for it. But IMO i think it is only worth it to make your own if you can do it in mass quantities. But unless you have a ILLEGAL 200+ plant op. cant see the need.

Sounds logical .... I was hoping after seeing how much you can save on PH that there might be a way to save on nutr. Thanks

I would be interested if anyone knew how to make their own hydro medium. I've tried gravel and doesn't work for shit, seems too heavy for the roots to be healthiest. I don't have hydro stores so buying volcanic stuff just isn't possible for me :(

Well it's obvious you have online access. Buy it online. It's just a gardening medium, it's not like anyone will suspect anything if you buy hydro stuff and have it mailed to you. And it's not illegal to have an indoor hydro system either.
