Making Home made THC Cartriges

So I've never done this before but figure what the heck why not give it a go. I do not have a press as of right now so other than using a hair straightener that option is out.

I have done my reading and research, now I'm looking for opinions for the experienced. What methods provide the best flavor, what methods provide best potency, what method is the best combo?

Does anyone add any flavor?
What ratio of pg vg do you like?

Subbed. I have a 20 ton press and was thinking of getting heat plates for it. I’m not a fan of carts so I’m hoping this will be closer to flower.

I do the carts quite a bit because they're cheap for me. I agree I prefer the weed taste and the live resin has given me that weed taste so I think your thinking on the right track. I'd imagine it would be a lot more like smoking flower. Plus a lot of these carts have added terps and stuff now it seems which is a bit too much. Making weed like nicotine vapes with that blueberry candy nonsense.
