Making Tincture.... experts need reply!

If I am making one, I am using a boat load of stems.

Would it be bad to put the stems in a blender to chop it up? Would that lose alot of the THC?

I'm going to then of course bake it in the oven for 200 degree for 10 mins then let it sit in everclear for a couple of weeks shaking it.

Also, should I be adding some bud to the mix to strengthen the potency?

You can put stems in a blender, it won't do anything to the the THC. Also, baking is not necessary. You can just put the stems in the bottle and shake for about a month. I would definitely add bud to the mix. I never make tincture without bud in it. I don't think just stems will be very potent. I put a zip in a bottle and it does the trick.

Thanks bro. Question though, how do I know how much bud to put in? Should the everclear be poured up to the top of the bud level?

Put as much bud as possible. The more the better. Make sure the everclear is covering the bud at all times. You want it soaking in it.
