I have a local health food store that sells Food Grade Vegetable Glycerin and I plan on making some Tincture. :-P I would like to use the crockpot method instead of making sunshine tinc, so my question is, what temp(s) will safely activate the absorption of the THC molecules without degrading them? I've read that you're supposed to get it as close to boiling point as possible but if Im gonna be leaving this to cook over night, I dont want it to get too hot. +rep for help

well, just made some Tinc. Left it on at 160 F -170 F for 13 hours. Strained it. Looks to be the same color as other peoples Tinc that have used this method. Most of the gland heads on the trichs are gone, so. . . I guess it worked. Wont know for sure though until it cools and I can try some. I'll let ya'll know if I fucked up, or I'm fucked up. . . hopefully its the latter.

never made tinc b4 but ive made green dragon.. actually i got super stoned yesterday makin some. i realize youve made it already but ide say 220-225 F is a safe bet for the temp without vaping off any cannabinoids or thc, it would only really speed up the process tho (for the next time you make it)
