Malawi Gold is a beautiful strain from the heart of Malawi. It was the number one strain in Amsterdam for a long time. I was wondering where i can get the seeds.
I know Afropips has them on The Attitude Seed Bank.i did cant find any
afropips does NOT have malawi gold ANYWHERE because afropips is no longer with us. i waited over a year for that to come back in stock at attitude AND gypsy and probably a few other banks before finding out brother is thousands of miles higher than any of us here. as always, +REP in peace pips.
holy smoke seeds has a malawi that looks REALLY promising. i started one (think i had 3 males too) and it definitely liked to stretch and smoked nice enough when i had to cut it down early a few days after forgetting to turn my fan on for a few hours, and i even got half a dozen more freebies too... 2 more MGs, 2 mozambique poisons & 2 other african sativas with their bonus offer.
i'll have to wait until next grow to report on that strain, but compared to my previous attempts at growing IBLs, sativa seeds (nirvana) full moon highland thai & delta 9's mekong haze, the holy smokes' malawi totally co-operated with sprouting and flowering without hermies. it looked like an IBL too, so it wasn't a bogus "mid" like so many strains that steal buzzwords like haze that oftentimes are totally unrelated to haze even.
considering just how fanatical the grower here that's always trying to get me to try ace seeds' panama red is, i would imagine that their newly added version of malawi gold can't be totally sucky. it's be really cool if someone did a shootout between the 2. regardless, i hope to have a smoke report on holy smokes' version some time in the middle of winter.
holy smokes' malawi gold & DNA genetics' really nice sweet haze around 45 days

That looks like 45 days veg and was topped. Looks about right to me, especially for a tropical landrace. You really need to quit following this guy around every post, I've even seen you on grasscity replying to his rants. You're looking crazier than the "crazy" you accuse him of being.45 days from seed. No way thats 45 days in flower.
How much longer before you cut them down and smoked them? Or was this picture taken on "harvest" day?
If thats what your 45 day sativas (even in veg) look like, you might want to do alot more research. That looks like 45 days veg and was topped.
