very helpful pictures.I didnt know a plant can be a hermaphrodite. How does that happen? and will it self pollinate?

Pot has got to be one of the most proficient plants on earth, and it wants to grow and stay alive more than any other plant too. God surely meant for us to have pot to smoke. No other plant produces up to 6,000 seeds just so it can pro-create..

I have seen pot grown outdoors, in a large patch or garden, and was amazed at how it will struggle to stay alive regardless of the hardships it faces.. I have seen plants ran over by a 2 wheeler and be laying on the ground and still be alive and growing like a vine running across the ground. I have seen males pulled up by the roots, and tossed away into the woods, to just somehow stay alive and the roots dig back into the ground struggling to stay alive.
And then there is the Hermie thing. And that to me is the most amazing thing of all. Plants will naturally be about half and half, half of the plants male and the other half females. And seldom do you get a hermie in a large patch of a dozen plants UNTIL you pull up the males. Until then, the plants seem to know they will be fertilized, and they are content to be half and half. BUT, remove the males and then, something mighty strange happens. The remaining females KNOW that the males are gone, and they start making male flowers, to fertilize themselves with male pollen so they can make seeds.
And stranger, (back in the 70s and early 80s, I grew large patches in the woods) is how they know that the males are moved or destroyed. You can plant ten plants on one side of the road, and 20 yards away on the other side of the road, plant ten plants, so that they can not see each other. Both patches will make 50% male-female plants. But go to one patch and destroy all of the males, and the remaining females will rely on the other males across the road to get them pregnant. Destroy those other remaining males, and the remaining females will know it and start making hermies, or making male flowers on the female plants. Somehow, a female plant knows if there is a male within 20 to 30 yards of it, and it depends on that male to polinate its female flowers. Destroy that male and the remaining female will go HERMIE everytime.

Amazing!
