So I want to buy the sativa pack of seeds from sannies and there is 4 seeds of each strain to choose from. What is your experience on sannies regular seed female/males ratio?

m/f ratio has nothing to do /w the breeder... normal is 50/50 but ideal conditions with little stree favor the plants to be female... lots of stress can turn a whole batch of seeds male...while ideal conditions..u may get all ladys

Of the 30 Jackberry and 30 Killing fields i ended up with close to 35-40 range of females, i say 40 because i killed a bunch that grew like males, and what i was left with were females and males who showed traits i would want for breeding. roughly 1:1 ratio but better on the side of the girls maybe 6:4 f/m ratio.

Also, sannie is top quality, Killing Fields is the sickest purple-jack herer i've ever grown or seen! smoke quality is like the jack herer, which means its easily one of the highest quality 11-12 week sativas you can buy.

Growing KF now popped 2 seeds got 1 Female and and left one in veg (think its male). I must say i veged for 3 weeks from seed and the yield is very small but it looks like some super dank. I wish I would have vegged 6 or 8 weeks from seed before flowering, but site said that it stretches a lot, (mine stretched about 2x).

Yea.. I can't wait to start growing killing fields. Ive always wanted some super good purp or blue pheno. I have always used bag seed to grow that has been grown in my climate so it flourishes. It's good smoke..it's just the same Ol smoke if ya get my drift. I want some new tastes/smell/feeling. Plus I'm sure these strains are a lot more potent then the one I possess. I've got afghan 1 and afghan gold. Since the strain has been grown in my area for the past 20 years I am going to cross each new strain with the afghan so I can get a super good crop that is really potent and works extremely well in my climate. Does this sound like a good idea?

Surprised to hear this, other reviews I've read say that this is a big yielder. What methods, lighting, nutes, etc are you using?

I veg under 8 bulb 4' T5 running in Rainforest 66 aeroponic system, then transfer them to flower room which has 1K HPS and runs a RDWC/Aeropoinc setup. I am running botnicare power series for flower and veg with botnicare blast off at start of flower. The system and setup is proven as I have grown some dank ass buds the size of 2 liters of cola. I think it is just a low yielding pheno.

Sounds like it might have been a runt. I bought 30 seeds...plan on popping 12 - 15, weeding out any stragglers, sexing, and vegging flowering top 4 - 6...hopefully get one that is mother worthy.

Sannie seems to know his shit...and he notes KF, along with a few others, as being one of his biggest yielders (600+ gms/m2). I never go by the meters squared thing...but when he's saying 300 - 400 on others, you'd think there's something to the 600. Who knows?
