HEY HOW IS EVERYONE,WELL I HAVE A PLANT I BEEN GROWING FOR ALMOST 8WEEKS NOW,WHICH I GOT THE SEED FROM A FRIEND AND ALL WE KNOW IS THAT IT WAS SOME
GOOD AS HELL CRIPY
, NOT SURE OF THE STRAIN/TYPE OF MARIJUANA WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD ANY IDEAS IF SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND ALSO WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE COULD TELL ME HOW IS THIS PLANT DOING FOR IT TO BE ALMOST 8 WEEKS AND IS THERE ANY TIPS OUT THERE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH...PLEASE LOOK AT OTHER POST IN LINK TO VIEW MORE PICS OF PLANT THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!! SORRY ONE MORE THING ALSO CAN YOU TELL HOW GOOD IT MIGHT TURN OUT BY THE LEAVES OR WHAT....LIKE I SAID THIS IS MY FIRST TIME GROWING!!!!SORRY AGAIN WAS ALSO WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME WITH THE SEX OF THE PLANT...IS IT MALE OR FEMALE THANK YOU ALOTS AND GOD BLESS!!!!!

I havent yet so far its only 8 weeks this tuesday coming up and i been doing 24/0 light and its only like 7inches tall.....what shud i be doing to it

considering the fact that the plant look like it was topped, it looks fine to me.
a bit small but ok.
what kind of light you are using ?

And to jungobo yes i have topped it after it third fan leaf came in and thats only because i was watching some youtube videos about the plant

by either going to a 18/6 light schedule or if u want to flower to 12/12....the sleep time is the dark time. plants look good, small because of your minimal light, but its all good. u could get some stronger cfl, u said a couple were 100 watt, but I think they r 100 watt "equivalent" which is not the same. Looks like u have a sativa mix there. No noticeable pre-flowers showing so can't sex yet. Once u switch to 12-12, sex should show in a week or two.

mine in particular grow like mad in the dark.
i don't care what anyone says...i've seen it for myself.
24/0 systems are for dialed in ganja wizards yo...

so what do you think i shud do with this plant and how can you determine whether its sativa or not, like what details are you looking at cause im confused and also what do you think about the smaller plant to the right in the picture.....thank you alots!!!!!! And is sativa good or not

it looks like sativa because of the skinny leaves,indicas tend to have fat leaves and lots of times tighter internodes

although many times internodes depend on how they were grown

Considering the lights you have, I'd say the plant is pretty healthy. Good job. There is group of people out there that say 24/0 light schedule is fine. Their argument is that mj will grow as fast as it's least limiting factor, meaning that weed will grow as fast as you can feed it and keep up.
Honestly, I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary. Light schedule is subjective. It's really up to you and what you think. People might say that because your plants are small, that that is proof that you need to turn the lights off occasionally. But your plants are small because your lamps are small.

Personally, I believe that plants need a dark time or "sleep," There is a lot of evidence that mj recovers in the dark. And that growth happens in the dark. But to each their own.

I think concidering your lights, you might as well start flowering now by switching to a 12 on 12 off schedule. Your lights are too small to flower a gigantic plant which is what your gonna get if you keep vegitating for a long time.
A sativa can be characterized by thin leaves, tall plants, long flowering times, and cerebral or "heady" highs that inspire creativity, and make you wanna get up and do stuff, as opposed to indicas that make you just wanna go to sleep. Indicas give you that narcotic, couchlock experience.
And the smaller plant to right looks good too. Good luck.

I just repeat what I read in another thread, Plants produce hormones during the night. you have no night cycle.
for me it took about a good 2 month for 2 of my plants to show sex, and some of em were still undetermined.

thank you beansly this helped alot also thank too everybody else as well you guys are very helpful....any other tips and helpful hints will also help if you have some thanks alots!!!!!!
