Male or Female? Need help sexing / Other plant problem. Experienced oppinions needed

hey, just wondering if you guys here can help me out on sexing my plant. i took a few pics although im not too sure if you'll be able to see. i put a tiny red arrow next too the calyx anyway. but im not sure if its male or female as im still not seeing any hairs come out yet. its been on 12/12 for 4 days now.

also, im having problems with leaves turning brown on me. anybody know what that might be? at first i thought overfeeding but i flushed twice now and its still happening. its mainly in the younger leaves but some of the older fan leaves are getting it too. starts at the tip and progresses inward from the serated edges. i check my ph going in and coming out with it going in at 6 - 6.1 and coming out higher 6's.

if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated.

Well I am not real sure it just looked like a nut sack in that one picture. I don't have but 1 grow and my other I have now is hermiedon me lol. some body will be able to tell you. good luck
 
yea, i was kinda thinkin the same on waitin a few more days cause i was having problems with it being stunted so maybe its just taking a bit more time then usual. theres just one spot on the main stem that looks to me like a nut sadly :( ahh well, it was just a shitty bag seed anyway. i have 1 small female chemo so that will hold me over til next batch hopefully.
 
if it were balls though, do you think they would be popping up alot quicker? i mean im checking every day and im not seeing no clusters just the single little calyx shaped thing at each node but no hairs yet.
 
i wish i had a magnifier to get a few better pics for yas to judge. gonna have to pick one up very shortly i guess.
