male or female skunk#1

Hi - Id appreciate some advice from you experts. This is skunk #1 in its second week of 12/12. I went 12/12 early which may have been a mistake, anyway, some of these plants having yellow "heads". I cant see any "balls" underneath but wondered what you think - too early to tell or is it obvious? They look like they have a cone/flower on top which is yellow. I thought they were pollen sacks but Ive never read that they flower from the top like that, I thought it was always from the sides...your thoughts please gentlemen/ladies.
Thanks.

Your pics are a little blurry, but I am guessing female. You will know for sure in a few days. I just got some skunk #1 beaners from nirvana. I hope I am right.

Hi Catsfluff, I think you got boys there but a little more time should tell the story. The way the heads are developing roundish like they are leads me to believe so. Hope I'm wrong by 180 degrees!

It looks male. Look a little further down the main stalk at the nodes and you should see little clusters of pods/balls.

It is looking on the male side, give it a few days to really be able to tell. Nice healthy looking plant though. :weed::mrgreen::peace:

Bet his/her boy plant smells great too. Boys always smell the best during the veg period, have you noticed this Chiceh?

In the 5th pic you added male flower pods appear to be evident.
Shouldn't take but a few days more to be sure absolutely.

Yes, that's what I thought too Quickset :(
There's a few other plants which look similar to this one which is a shame, but I'll wait a bit longer anyway..

Thanks, but Im probably going to only grow female lowryder#2 from now on. I cant be arsed to wait all this time when lowryder's grow from seed to harvest in 9 weeks :) I know they're smaller yields, but as it's just for personal it might suit me better.
Any thoughts...?

Lowryders certainly an option. Grew them as part of my grow where I also started some GH Cheese plants. I didn't transplant them as I should have because of lack of time so I had a lousy crop (1/2 ounce from 3 plants) and the high was not that good where I only got a slight buzz.

I'm unsure as to how good the high is from them. There's also other autoflower strains that are just as easy/fast to grow (so I read) but give an even better high than lowryder? Haven't read anything yet revealing THC levels in lowryder which may be self serving to the growers but would sure like to think that the high is a good one as I still have a few lowryder #2 and diesel x lowryder seeds left.
