Male OR Female?

hello i started a planet from seed but i am not sure if its male or female, i have been growing it for about 2 weeks how long would i find out in and is there anyway i can make it female 100%?

to early to tell. that thing seems a little streached as well. mabvye move your light source closer.

You won't know till about a week into flowering.
Once you start on 12/12 lighting, the plant will start to show signs of sex.

Referring to the picture posted above, you can see that males have testicles (pollen sacks) and females have the long white hairs coming out of them but you will only see this after you start to flower.

and no, there is no way to make it female. If you stress a plant too much it can turn it male or into a hermaphrodite. There is nothing to do to turn it female. Your best bet is take care of it the best you can and you will find out what it is after you begin to flower. You can make some clones of it and have a few plants going but if it turns out that your plant is a male then all your clones will be males also.

alright thanks for the tips.... i was wondering how far away should the light be from the plant?

your plant will show preflowers when it is sexually mature, in 12/12 or not. Many people wait til they show before they put them into flowering. Saves space in the flower room. Usually its 6-8 weeks old. The better the environment, the better chance of it being female. From what I've read, when you have 4-6 plants together, one will usually be male. Although that is not always true, its natures way of ensuring survival of the species. Gl to you
