The calyx can be present and the pistils could take a while longer to show up. Usually there is no EXTRA vegetation on the calyx...just a nice football shaped ball attached directly to the node. With males I see that extra veg that I'm talking about and you will also see a small stem attached to the ball...kinda raise off the node on a small stem. I think this looks like a male because I think i see that extra vegetation but give it time. It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks to show sex. Under 18 on 6 off light regiment they will sex slightly earlier...by about a week. How old is it?

The early signs don't look that great but i'd still hang on to it until there's more evidence.

Let it grow for a while. If it's your only plant and it's a male, let it grow, collect the pollen in a glass jar, and when you want to, you can use it later.
Mist the plant with water you don't want pollen on, and just apply the pollen to a dry live young bud with a Q tip. The water kills the pollen so it won't pollinate the rest of the plant.

It looks male brody!! Sorry. I have had some take quite long to sex ...like up to 10 weeks but its one here and there that do that.

Easy or not, they are very clear.
And if you have the time/space I'd let it grow out a bit to be positive - (for my own personal edification).
I've never really been confident enough to chop at this stage & I'm curious what the outcome will be when you know for sure.
