Nah man. Most males show before flowering is induced, and the males you want for breeding purposes (from what I've seen) are called late bloomers and only show sex once flipped. I just had to regrettably cull one. Females will show preflowers before flowering is induced if they're mature enough.

Hey guys I know about the defoliation debate, and as part of my experiment, I took the same strain, defoliated one and left the other untouched to see the differences. I top and fim both, hopefully they'll both have high yields. I think they're both female, so I guess only time will tell
