How old is it? I'm not I can say either way. It doesn't show signs of being female, but that doesn't mean it's not. I just think it's too early, at least for my bad eyes.

Ok guys heres some more pics.(just got done watering and spraying) Both of these I started around the same time within a week... Ive had them on the 12/12 under a 300W LED. for probably about month and a half or two. Why is that other one so small? maybe different strain? Any help would be appreciated im a rookie haha! Thanks guys

Ok now I see the size of the plant, there's something not right. One definitely seems like a runt, but you are vague on your ages, "a month and a half or two" is a big difference at this age, and "about a week apart" also vague.

Was this supposed to be 12/12 from seed? If not why are you only giving them 12 hrs light?

You're gonna have to provide a lot more information so we're not playing guessing games.

Sorry about not keeping track of age.. And yes It was suppose to be 12/12 from seed. I read thats a good way to keep them small and be a fast grow.. Thats what im looking for... Its on a timer and has been since the start. I water every 2 days..Fans been blowing on them... Sorry Im just trying to learn..

I water every 2 days.
How much water do you give them? I think that's at least one problem right there. Plant in yellow definitely looks overwatered. How low do you let the gauge get before rewatering and how much do you add? You got holes in the bottom of your containers?

When I watered tonight that gauge was at 3. I probably am over watering them. Ill start watering them every 3 days, How does that sound... pretty sure thats a male. Im gunna give it a little more time. As for the little one. It started off yellow at the bottom then everything new after that is greener than green.... Maybe give that runt a VERY VERY light dose of the Fox Farm happy frog tomato and vegetable fertilizer? I also got a bag of Fox farm bat guano. Maybe a little fertilizer will boost that little one?

Oh and when I water I usually give them roughly 20 ounces a peice. So like a water bottle and a half... Make sure i water the soil evenly.. Or should I just water around the stem?

Again how MUCH water do you give them when you water?

Sorry, now I see it 20 oz. SHIT!

Just guessing but if the yellow pot was mine I'd probably be giving it about a cup/8 oz every 4-5 days. You cant "water to runoff" these little guys. Your're drowning them. Like sunni said learn to know when to water by the weight of the pot. Lose that gauge thing, they are inaccurate anyway and it's getting you in trouble.

i dont water based on days last watered. i water if it needs it. if the pot is light or if the soil is dry i water, if it isnt dry and the pot isnt light and the soil is wet i dont water.

a whole water bottle? wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much youre drowning your plant

So when I water should I just put enough water to make the surface of the dirt look wet?

For example before I watered tonight I stuck my fingers about 2 inches down, the first inch was completely dry and then it slowly started to feel damp....

The small pot is a smart pot, Its made out of cloth. No need for holes, and yeah I drilled about 10- 3/8" Holes in the bottom of that kitty litter pale. Im just gunna let them go with a fan on them for about a week without watering now and dry some of that shit up. :S Slowly learning bear with me. Thanks for all the help though I do appreciate it.
