No God?

Who are YOU to say? You are just another ignorant creature...

possibly with some unresolved "daddy" issues.
wouldn't that make you an ignorant creature also, i fund myself pretty inteligent actually, smart enough enough to know there probably isn't a man flying around in space laying gold roads for us to travel on.

How come the astronauts have yet to discover this heavenly oasis, above the clouds?

When the religion of christianity was created people never thought there would be machines flying through space, so why not create an imaginary place that no one could ever get to while living on earth, at that time. This way all people would be forced to follow strict guidlines created by the government to adapt a way of life to controll the people they rule, and keep them civil.

Those that choose not to believe are usually looked at as sinners, lower life, or outcast.....much like you have done to us here announcing our disbelief.

You have your fantasy lands, and we have ours.

You all need to watch Bill Mahers Religilous. that was some funny shit.
I wanted to see it, but it only showed in 1-2 theaters within 60miles of my home. They don't so shit that might jolt some dumb down individual to wake the fuck up. Can't wait till it comes to video

see, thats the problem...people believe what they want to believe
exactly.....why do people bring this stuff to a canabis website, making it tie in that all stoners are atheist or something.

Good way to get those laws changed guys!!!
"All canabis users are satanic, sinners, and should burn in our make believe hell"LOL!!! Keep thumnping them bibles and you'll be blessed for eternity, while the rest of us are decomposing in the dirt somewhere.

Yes, I am an ignorant creature as well, just not ignorant to the existence of a creator.

Why I addressed this thread is because I think people are confused regarding God vs "religion". Just because organized religion has screwed things (and people) up so badly, how does this refute God's existence? It doesn't. That's like saying since smog is so bad, automobiles don't exist.

I don't consider others to be "low lifes" or "outcast" because of their questions of beginnings.... and I am no less a "sinner" than anyone else.

And no flying spaceship has ever traveled outside this galaxy we are in. Space is WAY bigger than we could even imagine.

peace.

I'd almost say this isn't true, and your logic isn't flawed. but just because i don't believe in "God", doesn't mean there's nothing to live for. You see, God is a fixed image, and in believe in God, I Believe that you then close your mind to more openings, unrevealed until death.
No argument dude. contrast of a opinion is all

Wow that can also be turned around. People that are living for heaven should kill themselves as this life means nothing they are living to get into heaven.

Also what i find funny/ ironic is in america there are allot of groups that are so called christians. Each group claims they are the correct ones. All of them use the same bible in one form or another and all get different meaning and beliefs from it. My first question when someone says they are christian is "Witch one?". I am all for religion and for people to believe and have faith in what they want. All they better if it makes you a better person. Just don't confuse Faith with fact they are not the same. Also take time and educate yourself about the true history of christianity and other religions. Don't just take the word of a man in the front of the church.

Jehova witness
7th day advent
Church of jesus christ
Southern babtists
Catholics
Methodist

So on and so on....

For me the defining moment of asking "Um something is not correct". I was watching a show on cults (James town etc) on A&E. In that show they talked about ways that cults get people to believe things they would not normally believe. One key way is group prayer or singing both before and after a message. I thought to myself hey they do that at church. So i went to church later after the praying and singing. WOW what a eye opener. You see things in a different light. I then looking to Buddhism, the Egyptians and some of the religions that where around before Christianity and found allot of things that these people practiced where co-opted in the bible. In the end as Bill Mahr in the movie Religulous says. No human on earth possesses power more than me to know what happens when you die. Its just a guess.

These are my opinions as with assholes we all have one. I also believe in GOD it just may not be the same one as yours.

thanks for laying that track rambler, I've been wanting to get around to saying the same exact thing. God / Religion are simply NOT.

I wish people stop using the Bible and Christanity as a crutch for ignorance. Acknowledge you are ignorant, ask questions, and live your life.......

so, if Jesus' face was on our money you would believe in God?

okay. fair enough. Since someone put Capn Crunch's picture on the box of Crunchberry cereal, you must believe, then, in a master sea captain named Capn Crunch, right?

Zurces,
God fearing people do not affect your life do they? Do they make you pray before you eat? Do they make you go to church on Sunday? Do they take 10% of your money? My guess is no. So then the question is why is it on your mind? Why do you seem so emotionally charged against it? The message of Jesus Christ is that this life has purpose. I look at it like this. There is roughly 100 billion stars in our universe but an estimated 6 trillion cells in the human brain. If I were to be standing out in our galaxy there would be darkness for an immeasurable distance up, down, and all around me. Then if I used my brain and looked at earth I would see bright blues, greens, and white colors spinning around and I believe the word that would come to mind would be "Life". I think it would be arrogant of me to think that I, just by dumb luck get a chance to live an extremely short life on that glowing ball in pursuit of being as self serving as possible. So I believe I have purpose in life, a plan has been set for me, a reason for being alive, a reason to live. No one is going to explain anything to you that will take hold if you do not want it to, you need to go find the truth for yourself. But what I can tell you is that your no accident and there is a God and He does love you.
