Mandala Seeds Sadhu Grow

I sprouted two seeds a lil' bet ago and thought that I would document their growth. Now they are outside during the day and under fluorescents during the night. Once they are bigger and the days are longer, they will be moved outside. I haven't decided where though. Either in the ground and trained along other plants like a scrog but using other plants as the netting. The other place is in the middle of a large Hedge of Oleanders, near the top, similar to a tree-top grow. I guess I will see how the Sadhu fills out. If it is branchy, than probably the oleanders, but if it is tall and skinny, than put it on the ground and bend it over. Anyways, enjoy the first pictures!:joint:
Week 1, Pictures from 4-4-08 My bet is the first one will be a boy and the second picture a girl.:peace:

Now, the first two is the one I believe is a male, and the second two are the second plant, that looks to be female. We will see if my predictions are correct!:joint:

im growing the same thing so i'll be keeping an eye on this journal. my guess is you have 2 out of 2 females ^__^. good luck.

I forgot to add that these babies are going to be a severe stress grow. I am going to grow these in hot temperatures. Now the day time temps are in the mid eighties, and the temps inside at night are also in the mid eighties, so even now, too warm. Eventually, these babies will be subjected to 110 degrees plus for many days during the summer. Le's see how tolerant this plant really is!!!:hump:
Now for the pictures: Taken today, 4/08, I threw in a picture of the Mandala label for any nay-sayers.Had to re-pot one of them after one of my cat's pulled it up. Bad kitty. She likes to help me in the garden, but sometimes not the help you want. Thankfully, she managed to gently pull the whole seedling up without breaking the tap root, so hopefully it will survive. Actually, I have done worse to seedlings, so I am not worried.:joint::peace:

Here are some pictures. They are doing fine except one of my cats loves young marijuana leaves so a few got eaten but recovered nicely. The plants have switched roles, the one that used to be smaller is now the bigger one.:peace:

Hello everyone! Here is an update. The are doing well, not amazing, but pretty good for how early in the season it is and having suffered a few nips from a cat. Anyways, here are some pictures. Like before, the plant that started off the slowest is now much bigger than the original vigorous one. Gave them their first dose of nutes today, but a light dose. A few leaves looked a bit pale. Also, a picture of my growing supplies. And a bonus picture of an original Lowryder chillin' with some tomatos.
PEACE:peace:

Things are going good!
Not like anyone will ever see this journal because it gets lost among the countless bag seed CFL journals.:joint:

hey DS, what do you look at to determine sex at such an early stage?
Nothing but past experience. Typically the quicker, taller, skinnier ones are males. But in this grow, the one that started off the slowest is now the biggest, so who knows. I have actually had about a 90% sucess rate with females so I feel odds are going to turn and I will have a wave of boys, but we will have to see.

well i certainly hope not... for your sake. Mine have been flowering 6 days and still arent sexable...

Hey desert, just letting you know I am watching your thread. I just ordered myself some of mandala's sadhu last night so i am very interested in seeing how your thread goes, as far as high temps go mandala's strains are suppose to be the very tolerant of high heat, but 110 degrees is pretty hot so i don't know. Also i was wondering what type of soil you were using on this grow. Thanks

I have a trash can that I use to mix soil, so I put in one big bag of MG organic, one bag of perlite and one bag of vermiculite and mix. When it is mixed it feels so good I consider climbing in and planting myself.

Probably not much has happened since yesterday, but I took some pictures this morning and figured I would share them.:joint:

Hi everybody! Here are some pictures of today!:peace: I got some neem oil so that should help the little bugs. They haven't done any damage, but I have seen them on my pepper plants and don't want them to move out of their apartment and buy a condo on my sadhu.:joint:

Alright eager subscribers, the update you have been waiting for anxiously. The little sadhu's are perking up some after the neep oil problem. Also, there is a chance during my worring about the neep damage I gave them too much fertalizer and that was contributing to the leaf curl. So I poured two galons of clearex solution through them and have been striclty foliar feeding them. Since then, they have started to uncurl and actually have started to explode with growth, so al is good.:joint::mrgreen:

On to the pictures. Actually, I took these before the leaves really started to uncurl. Minded, there is still alot of curling, it is going in th ecorrect direction.:peace:
