You should never be handling your buds any more than necessary. After having lost so many trichomes, the quality WILL be lower. You need to do a better job trimming and you will have all the "bag appeal" you want. Trim wet and trim ALL the leaves sticking out. Nothing more professional and pleasant than a perfectly trimmed bud.
