i mean like the little leaves that havent seperated from the bud until it is dry. I did manicure the fanleaves and other leaves I could reach without getting to close the the actual bud.

hang them up for a week if you want to take anything off take off the big fan leaves. in my opinion its harder to trim when its wet you will notice that the alot of shit sticks to your scissors and will stick to the bud. if you want a cleaner trim i would wait tell its all the way dry. trim it then thro it in a bag and burp it or put it in jars to cure. i just have to much weed to put in jars so i put a qp in a zip lock bag and burp it every now and then

when your bud dryes the leaves tend to curl very close to the bud makin it even harder to trim..i trim when i first pull the buds when there nice and fresh. works out alot better at least for me anyways

yeah I think its just how ever sumone feels comfortable doing it. like you said the leaves curl around the bud My leaves a solid purple so I leave sum of them and just cut the tips

I do a two part trim, getting all the fan leaves and the majority of the sugar leaf tips on the first go. Then hang the whole plant and dry 3-7 days until buds are crisp. Once dry, I trim the buds from the plant and do a final manicure.

I trim all the leaf off my plants while there still standing then I cut each bud and put them in a bag. Once I get them back home I hang the individual buds up to dry.
