Sometimes i feel paranoid on here...somehow this site has found out not only my e-mail but also other computers ( such as my moms ) emails.....im also being solicited by license sellers.... i dont want people too know where my stuff is...and latey ive been postig alot....what do you guys think....should i be concerned???
 
Many people have been posting on here for a couple years..they dont get introuble. Just dont be stupid and say things that will get you caught. I doubt the police are going to want and come raid you for a couple plants.
 
Mr. Fish.... you have a great point.... i am not sure...but the question is our we safe here??? And jamman im not only worried of cops but of thieves.
 
You can never be too cautious. However, I've not had anyone send me anything via email since I joined the forum, for what that's worth. And besides, I'm only growing catnip myself =]
 
yea, i don't believe any of my info has been spread out or got weird emails, only emails i get are from the forums on here saying shit is updated and stuff.
 
I suspect it's (RIU) as safe as anything cyber-related is. It's all insane, but sure has opened up the world.
 
i know Google has some type of advertising program that basically searches through your searches (everything you have ever typed in google bars have been recorded to you IP address) and figures out what you are "in to". if you frequently search things about weed they will direct similar advertising towards you. it is one of the best ways to advertise because they know what you are interested in based on what you look up and search for on the internet. so i would say that google is doing this or some other company with a similar advertising program

You shouldn't post anything that could lead to you being located or prosecuted. No email, no chat, and definitely no forums.

Play it low-key and you wont have to worry :)

and the fucked part of this is google.com isnt the only site that uses the google search engine. lots of sites use it and a lot of time you may not even know. a good way to find if it is using the google engine is by searching the drop menu for past searches. if it resembles the drop bar at google.com you can bet they are using the google engine.... i don't know if people know this but you should NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES type "sensitive" material into a google search. it is being recorded to your I.P. by a secondary source.
