Manure questions

If I decide to use manure as plant food (instead of using chemicals), what should I go for? As of right now I am only able to source out Chicken and Sheep manure. Worm Castings is probable. Bat, horse and cow only accepts orders in 20 tons. I live in an apartment. I can't afford to have 20 tons of poop from a different species lying around.

How should I apply it and how much? Right now in this thread my plant is suffering from Nitrogen Toxicity from all the chicken poop https://www.rollitup.org/t/nut-def-or-burn.854930/#post-11170416 I used as mulch (buried some in when I first started/transplanted).

Of course the manure will be dried and ready to mixed with soil. I plan to mix organic horticultural grade soil with perlite and a few pellets of Sheep manure before covering the rest with soil/perlite.
EDIT: Watering with 1 spoonful of chicken poop mixed with 1.5 liter of water.

Doing an Indoor grow with soil medium + LEDs.

typically you can source rabbit manure from craigslist, it's a far superior nutrient and doesn't have the risk of burning the plants, as long as you don't overdue it.
Also doesn't smell as bad... nor is it likely to have any antibiotics/hormones/whatever they feed to livestock.
maybe also see if you can find alpaca wool, and therein you'll find alpaca manure, which is also superior to the sheep/cow/horse manures.

Hi. Thanks for replying. I can't seem to source both out. I don't live where most members live.

sorry to hear that... you don't have anyone near you that raises rabbits?
usually a craigslist search for baby rabbits or alpaca wool will help ya out, if that fails then... hmm.. can't help you much after that.

Thanks mate. It's fine. Do you think it is possible to use Worm Castings only as a source of Fert?

Hmmm, I bet you could, but your results would be lacking severely. NOT to mention in order to get enough nutrients from EWC you'd probably have a too thick of soil
I'd suggest manure over no nutrients at all.
If you do, i'd source a really good compost also, there will be nutrients in that, but all in all. I would try and find something to put in the soil.
You can't source neem meal online? that would be a good all purpose nutrient, or perhaps alfalfa?
Can you find a feed place that sells alfalfa? You could make your own meal from that...

I think it depends on the quality of the castings. I know there's at least one grower I've seen on here that uses his own castings start to finish.
