Merrick Garland now has a very firm grip on Trump's balls and could drop the hammer on the fucker at anytime he wants. He can pull the plug on Donald at anytime using the espionage act or others, so Moscow Mitch and the establishment republicans might want to keep their distance from flaming Donald, lest he explode and they get shit all over themselves. There is a lot of heat on Garland to stomp on Trump over the top secret documents, but they will need to do a bit more investigating first. Does the Biden administration take security seriously, or are they soft on security and not backing America's intelligence agencies enough? Donald won't walk away from this one, it's just a question of when he will be indicted, the case is open and closed, the penalties are harsh and plenty of people suffered them for far less and with far less evidence. Nobody was ever given this many breaks over this kind of charge, usually someone would be held in a basement cell with bright lights and glamrock played at top volume until they went nuts.

Kind of uncharted waters, but I don't understand why they didn't arrest him when they conducted the search. Not sure what, if any, legal precedent would exist. If some sort of federal agents show up and raid my house and find illegal shit, I can't imagine them not taking me to jail and raiding the rest of my homes.
