Being a local, I don't really have anything to compare Cebuano buds with in terms of quality. I have never had hydro. However, do expect it to be low quality to midz at best. Sometimes you might get lucky and get really decent quality buds. Other times, you will get straight up schwag. In any case, never buy a pre-rolled joint. You will have the worst joint you have ever had. It will be mostly paper and filled with stems, seeds and sometimes a few bud crumbs will be in there. Forget about strains when in Cebu. People do not know about strains there. No one will be able to tell indica from sativa. They will only label it as good shit or bad shit.

I have a good old friend who lives in Manilla,works in Saudi and takes his time off in the P.I.
I cant count the times I have been to Luzon and Olongapo City.Built schools and churches when we would go.I'll talk to him in the am.

If that old friend of yours will visit Cebu and encounter a Cebuano named Yul, he is lucky enough to try a good weed here

The average marijuana price in Cebu is from $10 to $40 for a quarter of weed. The prices can be lowered to $10 to $15 if you are good in making negotiation with the dealer. Most often, the dealer will just give the estimated weight unless you are bringing a scale with you. In Cebu, the most common you can find is just the regular weed. There are sticks of weed (marijuana in rolled joints) and dried cannabis leaves. Prices will usually depend on the quality and oftentimes the dealer. Some will charge you about 40 bucks for a quarter of good quality bush

The Philippines is probably anti-marijuana due to western influence. Somebody put pressure on them long ago saying it was bad. Just like eating dog.
