the police were there more as a presence as oppossed to a threat. If you act civily you'll have no problems.

You start soliciting you're gonna be in big trouble.

Do you guys think it will violate any rules if I set-up a tent?

i dont know if its against the rules. maybe because they wont be able to see what your doing? i wouldnt risk the effort of brining one the having to take it down and carry it and everything.

You'll be fine. As long as you don't do something to alert the authorities.
They know everyone is there to smoke, and toronto is a very liberal city.
Just as long as you're not soliciting or selling you'll be fine. Stick to your group. Share not sale. Last year I got there late. I drove up as the parade was coming down. Since I was honking in support they passed me a joint mere feet away from police officers. I have a pic I'll try to find and post.

getting caught is no concern to me, also what do yous do, just parade and smoke?

maybe i could pick up my roor from a toronto headshop, anyone know somewhere that sells roors near where the march would be

Yep at queens park. They'll have a stage set up, and information booths.

You smoke, chill, talk shit, eat.

Oh, and Tommy Chong is going to be the grandmarshall of the parade.

Alot of these people will tell you, it's something that has to be experienced.

It's such a liberating event.

theres live music, ill scarlet played last year, marc emery was the parade marshall last year and TOMMY CHONG is the marshall this year woo!

you can try Friendly stranger, or i know of a newer less known head shop called Earth and Fire who can use alot of support, he used to own a store in Newmarket called Lotus, but the police raided him and took all of his glass on two separate occasions, causing him to go into debt. so he opened this store last year on 420. its on 489 Queen St West (upstairs), he also sells hemp clothing, reggea vinyl. its a really nice store its worth checking out. I know him well and hes in it for the cause not the money.

but yea im looking specifically for German RooR's, ill probly just order one from the UK i know THC carry RooRs but i think they're American, and its quite the drive to get there without knowing what they have and the prices.
