Marijuana with seed...Damn she males.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to ask what the deal is with THC production on seeded bud. I had all three of my plants herm on me which is very disappointing. Plants are now riddled with fat arse seed calyx's. We have decided to let them mature as per normal and harvest. My question is; will this have inhibited my thc production a great deal?

Mega shame really. First grow was going very well. All plants are good and healthy. Think we'll just smoke it all up and scatter some seeds when outdoor season roll's around. Hopefully she spreads like wildfire haha

Hmmm... The good bud part is nice to hear. lol hope it isnt too good or ill be gutted about there not being much of it. Da Purps is such a beautiful plant too. Thanks for your reply there Del, appreciated.
 
its a pain picking all the seeds out..........only had a few herms in my time im glad to say.........
 
Yea I'm pretty disappointed to say the least, that all three hermied. I'm guessing they were from a herm parent. We're mid week six now and what hasn't developed a seed is looking mighty tasty. I did go through all the plants as soon as I noticed the male flowers on the females and plucked as many off as I could but it seems there were a few I missed. I'll continue to keep them good 'n healthy and hope for no more seed. It's been a long time since iv had seeds popping in bowl haha.
 
there's no scientific study that shows seeded bud producing less thc. but it will take away from your overall harvest. when females start making seeds thats what they focus on instead of foliage growth.

20 years ago seeds popping would have been the norm...........

lol that shows your experience there del. I've only been a religious toker for about 5 years now. But hey I'm only 22, plenty of time left for smokin seed haha. Checked out your 12/12 thread man. You've got some amazing yields there. I'm thinking I might have to give it a go on our next crop.

30 years of toking mate......5-6 years trying to grow...........you should defo give it a try, let us konow when you do mate...........
