if we sacrifice our values as democrats just to win, what's the point of winning?

i guess women's tights never were much of a value for you though, considering the whole duct tape anal spread fascination and the obsession with "men's rights".

say, how are "men's rights" different from women's rights?

misquoting. again. Have you lost so much of your self esteem that you are unable to accurately quote what somebody said?

Bernie came out in support of a mayoral race candidate who was opposed to choice. Have you moved past your support for Bernie, the progressive candidate?

During primaries, I think the only bar to entry in the race should be a low fee to cover vetted and fair registration costs. After that, it's up to the candidate to campaign and win the vote of the electorate. If I were in a district that had an anti choice candidate, I wouldn't support them. That's very different from tops-down imposition of candidate positions in every district nationwide. The allocation of funds is also a political choice by DNC leadership. A representative of David Duke, for example could register and run as Democrat simply for the purpose of embarrassing the Democratic Party. I'd expect the DNC to withhold funding to him. For myself, I don't support the idea of a set of required position in order for a candidate to run but that doesn't mean the DNC would have give money to a candidate with beliefs counter to the core of the party's policies, including withholding primary campaign funds from anti choice candidates. That said, it's up to the party leadership how to handle this situation and explain decisions if controversial. Everything they do must be legal, within the rules of the DNC and further the goal of replacing Republicans with Democrats.

After primaries are over, the winning Democratic Party candidate will have won approval of Democrats in their district. Withholding funds at that point becomes one in opposition to the electorate. I'd say that's a high bar to cross and can't say absolutely one way or the other because there are lines I can't cross. But would not be opposed to treating that candidate differently from others if opposition to abortion were the sticking point. I'd never support that candidate. I say it's up to the DNC and not me to decide. Elections aren't a morality soap opera or a game. Elections matter and they are all about issues like this. It's DNC's job to win elections. We'll have another shake-up if they fail to take advantage of the wellspring of activism that Trump has inspired. They have accountability and so have the decision making power on this issue.

I'm highlighting the hypocrisy in Fogdog's appeal. Sanders smashes every other politician in the polls, he says the only poll that matters is during the election. Yet the election happened and he constantly criticizes the results. Don't get upset the logic works in reverse, too. I'm not the one that made the argument.

The argument is weak, that's why he has to call you three of the nastiest names he can think of in order to try to distract you from the weakness of his logic.

Sanders polls more favorably with African Americans, Hispanics, and Asian Americans than he does with whites, and men. More women support Sanders than men.
