MARS HYDRO CUP - Lilac Diesel & Birthday Banger -Mainline Grow w/MARS HYDRO TS2000W & Home Assistant Automation

Actually not even that... the only listed rules are:
1. Have "Mars Hydro Cup" in title
2. Let them know your thread/video channels exist
3. Post at least once per week

How do they gauge the "views" though in terms of forum threads. I've not seen a "views" thing for threads, so I'm assuming they are basing it on post count? Did they specify that portion anywhere?

Actually on the main page if you're navigating around to look at the threads it shows total views. It's SUPPOSED to be that number for your thread plus the views of any videos posted and tagged on youtube related to that grow

Probably not... I figure once per day would be enough to keep the thread high on the list to get more views. Not sure how the view counter works- different people or do repeat views count etc.... I think the trick is just keeping it at all alive for the duration of the event which is like 2 months or something too long.

Nobody actually ever wins these contests anyways. Normally a fake profile who works for the company.

Whatever, I'm on here a ton anyways and all I have to do is keep a thread alive to have a chance. It's not like I'm paying to enter

You realize this contest is ran among every social media platform right? Not just RIU.
So doing research I've got the top thread on RIU...and that's 1/3 the views of a single youtube video. I guess it's really gonna be necessary to leverage youtube & your connections to drive up views (unless you're a person that already streams a bunch and has plenty of followers)

Oh you forgot all IG and FB posts too

On the plus side I have a series of Home Assistant automation tutorials/drip irrigation construction/timelapses to keep creating new content and it's not just a single video. Might just need to get off my ass and work on my to-do list for my alter ego

So the rules state youtube and forum views only....but who knows how accurate they will be. Or do you mean the posts I'm gonna have to make to pull people to the other content? Either way it is a PITA
