Mars Hydro TS1000 complete grow kit

Hello RIU. So I have been asked many times about grow kits and Mars Hydro lights. It bothers me that I can only guess about them or go off what others say so I decided to prove one way or another if they will do the job. I have gotten a Mars Hydro TS1000 complete grow kit. This comes with a 2x2 tent so I am going to set it up, drop 2 auto's in there and we shall see what we got. All I want to prove is if these complete kits are good enough to get someone new started. Well here we go. Below is the kit I got, I am off to set up it.

So what's in the box and how does the tent look? The tent went together very easy. Found no light leaks so far but will check it out better when I mount everything in it. Will update as I go.

Now that I see everything out of the box I would have gotten the set with everything. I opted out of the extras like the fan, and filter/timer.. etc. since I already had some not in use.
 
I've been enjoying the kit I won recently. Great results with the light in veg so far.

That's great to hear. I am just tired of having this conversation and not being able to give an opinion based on personal experience. It is definitely a complete kit with a small price tag, even fabric pots and a net. Just add seeds and medium. Got to put the gear in the tent next and pop some beans.

Ya it's great complete package to get started with from scratch. I've been a DIY grower adding bits and pieces until this so nice to have a proper kit to work with for once lol.
 
I bought one of the 2.5x2.5 tent kits a while back directly from Mars Hydro. I bought it primarily for seedlings, clones and early veg, but here is a single Bubblegum Fem (not an auto) after first week of switching to 12/12/flowering all grown with the small Mars Hydro kit and TS1000. Grown in coco/perlite and used GH nutrients. While they may not be the best tents or lights on the market, you can't argue that you can't grow decent plants with them.

Nice man, that's really the goal here. I have my tent set up with a good light but wanted to be able to say for sure if this kit is good enough for someone. Be nice to be able to say from the perspective of a practical trial rather than hear say.
